Dolphin Watches Update:

Important notice concerning timing:

  As defined by the rules of USA Swimming, the use of Dolphin-type watches can be used for ONLY the following conditions:

1. Semi-automatictiming (provided that they are started by the electronic starting signal and not an individual).

2. Manual timing (provided that they are started and stopped by each individual lane timer). 

Under no circumstances can a Dolphin-type watch be used for any type of system if it is started by one individual (head timer) that simultaneously starts all of the other lanes, even if being used for a tertiary system as described by the rules.  It has been common practice for having one person (head timer) to simultaneously start everyone'sindivdualwatches, but the rules don't allow for this in any of the situations (primary, secondary, or tertiary systems), therefore we cannot continue this practice. 

     Please make every effort to conform to the rules so we can be consistent throughout our LSC.
