National Diversity Select Camp
National Diversity Select Camp Applications are now available at USASwimming.org.
Summary:36 swimmers will be selected to attend the National Diversity Select Camp May 3-6, 2012 in Colorado Springs, Colo. Swimmers must meet the qualifying time standards for the camp and represent an ethnically underrepresented population that is less than 10% of the current USA Swimming membership. The fastest male and fastest female in each Olympic event will be selected. Additionally, three swimmers of each gender will be selected based on IMX scores while two additional males and females will be selected based on outstanding performance.
The 3-day camp program will include a combination of pool training, motivational and education sessions, and team building activities. Personal coaches of the swimmers are also invited and encouraged to attend.
