Officials be evaluated for renewal or advancement at the N2 or N3 level
U.S. Masters Swimming will be holding their National Championships this year in Greensboro, NC (Spring) and Omaha, Nebraska (Summer). Both events are expected to draw large numbers of Masters Swimmers - many probably from your own state. Both events will be designated as N2/N3 Evaluation meets. This is an excellent opportunity for the officials in your LSC to work a USMS National Championship and be evaluated for renewal or advancement at the N2 or N3 level. Here are the details: Spring Nationals - Greensboro, NC April 26-29, 2012 (SCY) This is a brand new Aquatic Center built as a state of the art facility for hosting large National level meets. This was designed as a fast pool and therefore you can expect to see a lot of records fall.Meet Referee - Joel Black joelblack@minspring.com Summer Nationals - Omaha, Nebraska July 5-8, 2012 (LCM) This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.the U.S. Masters Nationals will be held in the same temporary facility as the 2012 USA Olympic Trials.Masters will occupy the facility just days after the Olympic Trials conclude. The pool will remain in the same configuration used at trials including the high speed timing cameras. If you don't get selected for Trials; this is the next best thing.Who knows - you may spot a few Olympic Team members still wondering around the facility.Meet Referee - Jacki Allender jallender@marykay.com Attached to this email are the "Application to Officiate" for each meet in Word and PDF format. Please distribute these to all members of your LSC officiating team. Any questions can be addressed to myself or the Meet Referee's listed above. Ed SaltzmanU.S. Masters Swimming Officials Chairofficials@usms.org 4 attachments — Download all attachments
