South Carolina Swimming Development Director
My name is Kile Zeller, and I am the new South Carolina Swimming Development Director. I started swimming competitively when I was 5, and continued on through college and finished my competitive swimming career at Florida State University. Our team was undefeated, and ranked 9th in the nation, producing NCAA Champions and Olympic medalists. I have been coaching since 1994, starting with my neighborhood summer league team, and taking my first USA Swimming coaching job in 1999. I continued to coach as a full-time swim coach through 2012. My last coaching experience was with SMAC-NC, where I coach for 5 years, had the good fortune of owning the team, and had much success with a great group of kids!
I am very excited about this new position. I feel that the best part of being the South Carolina Sports Development Director is that I get to help swimming on a much bigger level than ever before. I look forward to working with everyone in South Carolina Swimming now, and for years to come!
If you see me on deck at a practice or at a meet, please feel free to come and introduce yourself. I am honored to be working with EVERYONE that is involved with SC Swim--swimmers, parents, officials, volunteers--I am excited about working with everyone! Thank you for this great opportunity!
Sincerely,
Kile Zeller
SC SDD--South Carolina Swimming Development Director
