For a small LSC, that is a ton of Trials Qualifiers!!! Congrats to all of our swimmers, and all of our coaches, who are doing a fantastic job of representing SC on the National level!
A couple items to note:
Megan Kingsley has been dropping time left and right. Her crowning achievement is an 11th place finish in the 200 fly—and she is just 16--AWESOME!!! This swim puts Megan 79th in the world out of any age-group!
Michael Flach finished 8th in the 200 fly—Super GREAT!!!
Haley Lips, at her 2nd Olympic Trials, right on her best in the 200 and 400 freestyles—NICE!!!
Friday Update:
Zach Lierley went a best time in the 200 Back: 2:02.97 and moved up 30 places from 61st to 31st. Zach also went a best time in the 200 IM 2:05.61 and moved up almost 70 places from 124th to 56th. That looks like it is the 17-18 state record.
Zach and Megan went best times in 5 of 6 events.
Zach - 33rd 400 IM, 31st 200 Back, 56th 200 IM
Megan - 11th 200 Fly, 25th 400 IM, 61st 100 Fly
