Senior Zones update from TG

 

Day two of the Southern Zone Senior Championships in Plantation, Florida was a successful one for Team Greenville swimmers.  Kevin Crumley (200 Fly) and Francois Van Wynsberghe (200 Breast) finished second on their respective events.  Crumley’s time of 2:08.22 is a new team record, while Van Wynsberghe’s time of 2:25.73 is 2ndon the all-time list for 15-18 boys.  Adam Impson was also a championship heat finalist finishing 7thin the 100 Free, along with his teammate Van Wynsberghe just ahead of him in 6th.  Courtlyn Fields (200 Fly), Luke Boliek finished (200 Breast), and Henry Frengel (200 Back) won their respective consolation final heats finishing 9thoverall.  Noah Schammel and William Revell also had good days notching best times in their events.  And last but not least in a time trial Wyatt Boliek went a 2:20.23 200 Breast which is a U.S. Open qualifying time barely missing the World Championships trial cut by .14.  His time is the fastest in TG history, and a new South Carolina open state record.
