SC/NC Coaches Clinic is ON!!!

Hey Everyone -- I hope y'all are getting ready for a nice weekend and get a little down time before Short Course gets into full swing!

 

I just wanted to give a little update about our Fall SC/NC Coaches Clinic and share the good news :)

 

As you all know, we hit a major snag when Matt Kredich unfortunately could not be our presenter.

 

I got some great feedback, esp from Dave Horton, Jesup Szatkowski, Scott Bonine, and Peter Wright--thank you all--I contacted a handful of top level coaches, and the winner is............................................

 

Sergio Lopez, Head Coach of Bolles, is going to be our Keynote Presenter at the Fall Coaches Clinic! 

Sergio is a fantastic coach and a great guy as well--very personable and very open to discussing everything that is competitive swimming!  He is going to present on 3 topics--I know one will be underwater work and the training and progression of Ryan Murphy per my request (1:38 in the 200 Backstroke as a Jr in High School).  I/we are open to suggestions about the other two topics--please send by next Thursday at noon if you would like them to be considered.

 

I will get more info about the Clinic out next week when I finalize location, and possibly one or two more presenters, with some bonus fun involved as well :)

5pm til ---- ?

Sergio Lopez--3 separate presentations with question/answer opportunities, and a coaches round table to follow with the ability to ask Sergio anything you like and we can all discuss.

 

I am not sure how many NCS coaches will be in attendance, but I sure hope all of our SCS coaches can attend!  There is no cost for the clinic.

 

I hope everyone is well and I will have more concrete info out next week--thanks for your patience with this clinic--all I want to do is have an awesome clinic for all of us, and it is looking like it will be--thanks to ALL of you that reached out to help and support me while we set this up--I can't tell you how much I appreciate that--thank you!
