WHO should attend: Any SC-LSC official that is currently certified as a STARTER who wishes to start their DECK REFEREE training. Attendee should receive advance approval from the LSC Official's Chair to begin the DR training process. Training clinic is required before any deck apprentice sessions are allowed.

Contact the trainer, Mark Posey, (e-mail, preferable) if you wish to attend so that adequate training materials are available. This clinic lasts approximately two hours and covers information needed to begin the process of training as a Deck Referee. After the clinic the official will need to complete a minimum of 8 apprentice sessions, under at least three Meet Referees and complete all sections of the online tests that have not been completed within the past two years: Stroke and Turn, Starter, Timer, Timing Judge, Administrative, Clerk of Course and Referee.
