2014 Short Course Zone Selection Info--Please Read!

Changes in the SCS Zone Selection Process 2014

Hello All,

We at South Carolina Swimming thought it would be helpful to outline some changes that have been made in the SCS Zone Team Selection Process.  Multiple emails, posts to the website, and tweets have been sent out, but we still feel our membership is not getting the message.  So here is a reminder, and hopefully it helps all of our applicable and interested swimmers be able to share in this opportunity—thanks!

• We will select 5 out of 8 swimmers for the 2014 SCS Zone Team using Short Course times that the applicant achieves during this Short Course season.
• Applications for Short Course Times applied to Zones are due no later than Saturday, February 15^th, 2014 (details are on the application).
• We will consider ALL sanctioned Short Course Swims from this Short Course Season.  Dates for this selection are Sept 1, 2013 through April 4^th, 2014.
• The remaining 3 out of 8 swimmers will be selected off Long Course Times.  More information will be out in regard to this in the spring.

There is a revised application attached to this email.  There was an error in the application sent yesterday.  We have changed “Long Course Times” to the corrected verbiage of “Short Course Times” for this selection process.  Please forward to anyone applicable.
