MAAPP 2.0 Begins on September 1st

USA Swimming has released the updated Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP) as part of it's commitment to safeguard athletes. MAAPP applies to all USA Swimming adult participants, zones, local swimming committees (LSC's) and member clubs.
These required updates come from the U.S. Center for Safe Sport.
USA Swimming's updated MAAPP document has been approved by the U.S. Center for Safe Sport and is required to be fully implemented by USA Swimming, it's zones, LSC's and member clubs. USA Swimming has set a deadline of September 1, 2021 for these organizations to implement the policies in full.
USA Swimming is providing it's members with these resources to complete implementation:
- View previously recorded informative, hour long webinars.
- Follow along with webinar slides, outlines and highlighted changes PDF's.
- Download and customize an editable MAAPP 2.0 document.
- View additional educational documents to help guide and assist all USA Swimming member clubs.
