Day two of the Southern Zone Senior Championships in Plantation, Florida was a successful one for Team Greenville swimmers. Kevin Crumley (200 Fly) and Francois Van Wynsberghe (200 Breast) finished second on their respective events. Crumley’s time of 2:08.22 is a new team record, while Van Wynsberghe’s time of 2:25.73 is 2ndon the all-time list for 15-18 boys. USA Swimming has just sent these changes that will affect all USA Swimming Non-Athlete members: APTs expiring September thru December 2013: will be extended to 12/31/13 APTs expiring in 2014: will be extended to 12/31/14 APTs expiring in 2015: will be extended to 12/31/15 The APT will need to be done every membership year, not every other year. 2013 Southern Zone Diversity Swim Camp and Summit The 1st Diversity Select Camp and Summit was held in Meckenburg, NC at the Meckenburg County Aquatic Center over the weekend of July 11-14. Athletes ages 13-16 years old (male and female) from 6 LSCs with chaperone/coach/diversity chair attended the camp.
