Hey Y'all Here is a quick update on our annual fall SC/NC Fall Coaches Clinic. We have Jennifer Gibson, Kathy McKee, and Jason Turcotte all presenting at our clinic Sat, Oct 4th in Columbia, SC. More details will be out next week--we are looking forward to it!

I am happy to announce that Katrina Konopka and Danielle Galyer, both from YSSC, made the Jr Pan Pac team this summer--Congratulations to these two, Coach Pete, and YSSC--Nice Work! These two superstars will be traveling to Maui to compete! They qualified by being in the top 2 finishers for their events for 18 and unders at Senior Nationals! Katrina qualified in the 50 free with a time of 25:66 and Danielle qualified in the 200 Back with a time of 2:12:25--Nice Work girls--Wicked Fast Swims!!! Way to represent SCS!!!
Congratulations to Y-Spartaquatics for their 2nd place finish on the girls side at Summer Juniors!!! Great Swims and a fitting end to Coach Peter Wrights legacy in South Carolina Swimming--thanks for raising the bar for the last 13 years--All the best to you in Texas!!!

Hello SCS We are having a solid Age Group Zone Meet! Gregg Reed took 3rd in the Mile. Robbie Gourdie finished 3rd in the 50 Breaststroke. Our 11-12 Boys finished 6th in the 400 Free Relay--just to share a few highlights. We have Nicholas Wukovitz as the top seed for the 100 Breaststroke tonight with Robbie Gourdie seeded 2nd for his age group. Congratulations to Savannah Faulconer of YSSC for her 2nd place finish in the 400 IM at Summer Junior Nationals! Savannah finished 2nd with a time of 4:45:89, shattering the state record! Nice Job Savannah--Nice Job Cukes!!! Her teammate, Katrina Konopka also had a 4th place finish in the 100 freestyle with a prelims time of 55.9--very nice!!!
